Yup the great Canadian traditions and Dayan is full on into it ... road hockey with his pals, Gabe, Nathan and Francois ... later on chilling out in the hot tub ... tonight slow smoked ribs in Claudes wood smoker ... now listen here Aussies - now that's a REAL BBQ!

Snowballs and hot tubs. Now that's a little different from the usual Aussie Christmas. Dayan and pals, Gabriel and Francois are having a snow fight in the hot tub at North Gower, Ontario. Linda nad Esther have gone to pick up our good friend Libby who is going to visit with us for a few days.

Trimming the Christmas Tree

We made it safely to our good friend's the Doucettes, here in Ottawa. Gabe, Francois and Dayan decorated the fresh pine scented christmas tree. It was -21 today and we sat in the hot tub with our wet hair turning to ice. Dayan tossed a nice snowball at me ... this is Canada :-).

Last week Oscar left this world. He was sick and VERY old. We will miss him alot. Here are some great memories. He was a fantastic dog!

Western Australia Vacation

These were our favourite pictures from our three weeks in Western Australia, north of the capital city, Perth. With our Canadian friends, Wyk and Paulette, we explored Coral Bay, Monkey Mia, Shark Bay, Exmouth, Yardie Creek, Turquoise Bay, Oyster Stacks. Dayan took most of the underwater pictures while snorkeling. We also saw giant sea turtles laying eggs, sharks, rays, dolphins and tons of kangaroos and emu's!

It was very fun and when I saw them it was very neat. One was fussy and one of them wasn't. Piccolo was a nice dolphin and he wasn't fussy and I got to feed him. I loved Piccolo.
